Welcome to the Ph.D. Program in Bioresources ~~
The university officially established the Graduate Institute of Bioresources (GIB) in August 2004 (Academic Year 2004), the only institute in the nation bearing this name at the time, and began enrolling Ph.D. students. In response to the Ministry of Education’s policies for cultivating advanced professionals and addressing the challenges of a declining birthrate, the program was renamed the Ph.D. Program in Bioresources, College of Agriculture starting from the 2015 academic year.
Currently, the curriculum and research development of the Ph.D. program are focused on four main areas: forest resource management, agricultural materials and resources, animal production, and agricultural biotechnology. These areas are closely aligned with national initiatives in green energy technology, biomedical science, innovative agriculture, and the circular economy, supporting both research advancement and talent cultivation in emerging industries.
